The Datacap PDC is used to connect EMV reading Pin Pads to the Datacap Tran Server in multi-lane deployments. You will require one PDC per register. The PDC is used to achieve out of scope control for embedded POS systems. A PDC is not required when using the Datacap IPTran LT device which of course is a single lane device.
